The neat thing about Twitter is how much it streamlines interests, celebrity access, and news. In each social-media-startup infancy, we see a lot of people try to get the most ‘friends’ (Facebook), ‘followers’ (Twitter and Instagram) or ‘subscribers’ (YouTube). As the algorithms change, our devices change as well…I’m seeing more people use social media for marketing their personal brand than just using it as a novelty. Good read.
