Am I insane in believing that the world will look so different by 2069 that what we currently believe about retirement will no longer apply? Social security will probably be gone and we probably won’t be moving to Arizona or Florida because it’s too hot…but I keep thinking about possible geopolitical underpinnings at that time. Here’s to hoping enough millennials are able to retire because if there’s a bubble that looks anything like the one with Baby Boomers right now, we’re in for a rough mid-century.
